September, Part I

Sam wanted to try basketball. I didn't tell him that he really doesn't have the genes for the aptitude or height necessary and signed him up for a six-week class where four-to-six-year-olds would learn the basics. Sam spent most of the time making silly faces, saying silly words, wiggling his arms in silly ways, falling over the ball and complaining that he was tired. I should have taken some video, but I did get a few pictures.

We're going to try gymnastics next. He wants to learn to do flips like a Jedi.

We spent a weekend at Grammie and Grampie's house, including an afternoon on the boardwalk. We all had some ice cream and then all the little savages said they were hot and took their shirts off.

We also went to a Japanese steakhouse for Uncle Jamie's birthday.

Sam likes to sleep in weird positions and completely covered. Sometimes a little appendage sticks out.

September, Part II will include school pictures.
